Profile

Founded on July 6, 2016 by Jinny Kusumo and Nico Lengkong, Planting the Seeds of Love (PTSOL) is dedicated and committed to helping communities in one of the rural regions of Southeast Asia also remote village in the Central of Java Island, particularly in the under served villages of Oemoro, located in the Eastern part of Indonesia. The genesis of Planting the Seeds of Love (PTSOL) as a non-profit organization stems from a simple, yet profound dream of being little mediators of God’s love and charity for the advantages among the poor. It truly is a missionary calling to love and to make the love of God more real and tangible in the daily life of our elders, sisters, brothers and children in need.

As proponents of this charity, we see ourselves as mediators of the bounty of God's love, as well as a channel through our family members, friends, colleagues, co-workers, acquaintances and all people of good will. Seeing ourselves this way, as a solid, united and determined group of people, holding hands together as one, we are certainly planting the seeds of love and are helping to build the Kingdom of God that promises peace, security, and well-being in the life of our unfortunate elders, brothers, sisters, and children.

Our Story

After being involved in helping poor communities rebuild the place of worship in East Indonesia, helping  underprivileged kids in Central of Java Island and seeing how countless people have been positively impacted by this noble cause, we are inspired to establish this charity as a legal organization.

On August 26, 2016, "PLANTING THE SEEDS OF LOVE or PTSOL" became legally recognized as a non-profit organization in the United States of America with EIN 81-3674068 and 501(c)(3)

Mission Statement

Led by the Holy Spirit, our mission is to rebuild the place of worships and serve communities that suffer many of the consequences in rural areas related to economic productivity, education, and health care needs in Indonesia.
